God sent John to prepare for Christ’s coming the first Christmas. Now He sends you with he same task. It starts with believing the word. Our Advent sermon series with Pastor Jonathan is called “Living Christmas” as we seek to embody and experience the Christ who came to earth and was raised from the dead.
Serving with Joy

“’I am the Lord’s Servant,’ Mary answered. ’May your word be to me fulfilled.’” — Luke 1:38
Service is doing something for someone. It implies helping. The angel Gabriel was sent to Mary to let her know that she would be called to serve. Her answer is amazing. Serving God should always result in joy.
