Need Prayer?
Sundays, after each service
Prayer teams of six will be ready to pray with you and for you, available after each service (7:15am, 9am, 10:45am ). Prayer is private and kept confidential. Prayer Team members will be wearing lanyards.
Each week, continue the discussion from the Sunday sermon by joining an “Ohana Group” to find fellowship, support, spiritual nurturing, and Bible study! Get connected to God and to the family of Kalihi Union Church. For more info, contact Pastor John Barrow at 841-7022.
At Kalihi Union Church, prayer is most important. Prayer is a time when we not only talk to God but also listen to Him. We have several opportunities for you to be involved in a prayer ministry. Please come and seek the Lord’s face in prayer with us. If you have any prayer requests, please contact us or stop by the office!
Use the S.O.A.P. method to journal your prayers based on scriptures from the weekly Sunday sermons!
S cripture: Write out a passage or verse that spoke to your heart.
O bservation: What was God saying? Who was He talking to?
A pplication: How can you apply this passage or verse to your life?
P rayer: Pray the passage or scripture. Ask God to give you the wisdom to apply it.
Stir our minds and hearts to prepare for Good Friday, for The Cross, and for the Resurrection of Jesus. Did you know that about a third of all of the Gospels —Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John — take place in the last week before Easter?
On campus, there will be prayer stations with scriptures, a short prayer and an explanation of what happened during that final week. We hope that this will help prepare our hearts … rather than getting caught up in everyday life and suddenly realizing that Easter is here.
