Introducing our new bookkeeper Chris Nayyir and his wife, Stella. They are originally from Pakistan and have three adult children. Chris is an accountant but also a pastor and church planter!

Here’s what Chris shared:
It is such an honor to serve God in a place where it’s really hard to survive as a Christian (Pakistan). We thank God He’s kept His people safe and protected His people for the work of God. All glory and honor to His name. He is worthy to be praised. It started 30 years ago when I gave my life to Christ. After that, it’s been me & my family serving God together.

Our ministry started with a bible study group. From one group to 5 and then from 5 to 22. We opened a Worship Center in the middle of the city of Karachi. People came for prayer, then worshipped together with us. After that, God enabled us to establish one church, then a second church. Now we have 6 churches in Karachi and a church in Islamabad.

That’s all honor and glory to Him. Not to any man. We also have two Life-Building Centers, where people come from all walks of life. It’s an Education center, where even Muslim families send their children, too. One Life Building Center is in Multan where my wife Stella is from, one in Karachi.

I left Pakistan in 1997 to complete my theological studies. Miraculously I came to Hawaii in February 2011 where we see the love of God all over the place. It’s a
beautiful place and a blessing to be here, especially weather-wise, too. We had the honor to establish the first Pakistani and Indian Church in Hawaii in Jan 2014. It is known as the One in Church Asian INTL Church Hawaii.

When we visited Pakistan in June 2022 a group of ladies received the Lord Jesus Christ when Stella was preaching. They committed their lives to working with
children and we started to support them. They now have 38 children! They are growing all due to prayer and support.

It was a big loss to lose our senior pastor who oversaw all the work in Pakistan, but the work of God went on through a set of 7 pastors. Thank God again that He listens to our prayers and we are carrying the Word of God to those that don’t know.

In Karachi I sang on the stage, but I gave up everything for the Lord and now write songs for the Lord. It’s all about sharing the love of God. And John 3:16 says that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Whosoever! So it’s for EVERYONE.
