Getting the Groove

We are learning a lot and having even more fun at KCS! The students are getting the groove of their routines. Dash is our school pet. A pet helper feeds Dash a snack every day.  He is very calm & tolerates the children poking at him. As much as the children love running around and chasing him, he also needs the exercise. We also love to dance with Auntie Wendy during our music and movement class!

We create shapes; we learn the concept of eye-hand coordination (S.T.E.A.M.) and concentration; and we build fine motor control to improve our ability to hold writing tools. The students practiced different ways to make the number 4 using number bonds and simple addition.

Our students also enjoyed spending time with their grandparents for our Grandparents Day event, where they played bingo, did crafts, and enjoyed lunch together!

We can’t wait to see what October holds!
