Banaba House Ministries

John 1:14 NLT is our prayer, “The Word became flesh and blood and moved into the neighborhood.” We strive to nurture hearts, one home at a time.

Last summer we initiated our Neighborhood Kid’s Outreaches as ways to connect to them and their families. Success! Today, we have added 15+ to our Sunday School as well as adding five mothers to our monthly Mother’s Fellowship. We have a number of children also joining our family fellowship meals during the week. These little ones show a genuine interest and are becoming gospel lights in the own homes.

We are also initiating a guy’s discipleship house (2nd floor) for Alex, WIlmar, and Ron. More on nurturing spiritual maturity, leadership skills, and life development.

Our community Orientation & Immersion focus is finding more definition. We are hosting youth and college student teams from San Mateo as well as De La Salle University as they come and learn about the urban poor communities and strategize on ways to help. These will be reoccurring teams. We continue to host guests, like John, from the OMS Embark program, who was with us overnight last month.
