Let the learning, laughing, and Memory-Making Begin!!!! We have 10 school staff and 55 students in total! Shantil Centino, Honoria Dios, and Fozia Christopher have joined our school team! August was the first month of the school year, and we had a blast!! The children have been busy learning their daily routine! Consistency & encouraging them to try are important for building their self-confidence! They’ve also been learning a lot about prayer! It is an important part of our day, and learning how to pray and what prayer looks like will help them throughout their life. We have jumped straight into academics from day 1! They have been doing an awesome job adjusting to being in school and making new friends.
In the toddler and preschool classes, they learned their colors and learned that God made each and every one of us unique through different activities such as color sorting and drawing self-portraits! In the 3s class, the students are starting to recognize the first letter of their name!
In Jrk, they have started journaling! The children’s drawings and descriptions are cute & priceless! Journaling supports comprehension, fine motor skills, and language.
We can’t wait to see what this school year and God have in store for us!
