New Believers

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. —2 Timothy 3:16-17

There are many printed and online daily devotional materials available. Each daily thought is designed to draw the you into a closer relationship with Him and to evoke responses of worship, love, trust and obedience.

Suggested Daily Devotional Material: • Pick up a free copy of the “Daily Bread” at KUC • New Believers 30 Day Guide (video format or text format)

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. —Hebrews 4:12

Tips on Reading the Bible

When you are reading a Bible Passage, ask and answer 3 questions:

1. What does it say about God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit)? Where is He in the passage?
– God’s Character
– God’s Action

2. What does it say about me? Are there people I identify with (try identifying with the sinner)?
– What do I learn about my sin nature?
– What do I learn about living in Christ?

3. So What?
– Is there Sin to be repented?
– Is there a Command to be obeyed?
– Is there a Promise to claim?
