Dig Into the Word: 9:00 & 10:30 am

At Kalihi Union Church we value the truth of the Bible. We have classes where people can learn about different topics from a biblical perspective. This is not only a time for learning, but also for building relationships with the people in the class. They will learn together and pray for each other. Don’t worry if you’re a parent with a baby, we also have a nursery open during this time.

Come learn what it means to reflect the heart of God in our daily lives! Explore our various growing experiences below!

Queen Esther And Mordecai

9:00 AM | Limit of 25 | Library
Rev. Dr. George Nagato

The Book of Esther is only one of two books named after a woman and is rather an obscure and often-overlooked book in the Old Testament. As you work through the book you will be enraptured by Esther’s secrets in finding favor with the king which we can apply in winning the favor of our King. And although God’s name does not appear in the book, His hand is on every life and His will is in every decision. You will love the way He sovereignly weaves the threads of His purpose through the events that transpire.

The format of this class will be lecture and discussion as we explore invaluable protocols leading from information to inspiration to incarnation in our lives. We will be using Charles Swindoll’s “Esther” as a text. One of the blessings in this class is that each participant will have the opportunity to share through observation, interpretation, and application a choice protocol of the palace which Esther found in finding favor with the king (Finding Favor with the King by Tommy Tenney).

Each participant is asked not to miss more than two classes.
