Dig Into the Word

At Kalihi Union Church we value the truth of the Bible. We have classes where people can learn about different topics from a biblical perspective. This is not only a time for learning, but also for building relationships with the people in the class. They will learn together and pray for each other. Don’t worry if you’re a parent with a baby, we also have a nursery open during this time.

Come learn what it means to reflect the heart of God in our daily lives! Explore our various growing experiences below!

Making Sense of Suffering: Lessons from Job
10:45 AM   |  Library

Part 2:  A fascinating aspect of the Bible is that it confronts difficult subjects head-on, and so the book of Job. Is God just? How can it be that an innocent person suffers, while the god-rejecting wicked seem to be rewarded? Join us as we explore one of my favorite books of the Bible, contemplate the depths of who God is with what He has revealed to us about Himself, and like Job be reassured that despite our circumstances that God is awesome and He is worthy of our worship.
